The Lanark County Ambulance Service is the sole ambulance service provider within the County of Lanark. It provides 24-hour pre-hospital emergency or non-emergency care as well as transportation to and between hospitals for individuals experiencing injury or illness.

Between our Emergency Preparedness Plan and our Fire and Police Services, we strive to ensure any emergency is quickly resolved alongside the help of the community. Fire Services
Get to know your local fire service provider and the services they offer, including fire permits, fire safety, prevention education and responding to emergencies.
Police Services
Tay Valley Township is served by the Ontario Provincial Police. The Township's Police Services Board ensures compliance with the Police Services Act and liaises with the OPP on the Township's behalf.
