2024 Road Clean-Up!

The 2024 road cleanup collection was a resounding success , with community members coming together to clean up the ditches and roads from debris and litter. With a collective effort, they cleared tons of waste, restoring the cleanliness and beauty of both Tay Valley Township as well as Drummond/North Elmsley.

- Bathurst 7th Concession and McVeigh Road, from Harper Road to the end of pavement (rehabilitation)
- Crow Lake Road, from County Road 36 to the Tay Valley/Frontenac Border (asphalt padding and micro surfacing)
- Lakewood Road, from Kenyon Road to the cul-de-sac (rehabilitation)

FLOOD OUTLOOK UPDATE #1 – Water Levels Remain Elevated in Upper Watershed
A Flood Outlook Statement is being maintained for the Upper Rideau Valley Watershed.
Since early April, the Upper Rideau Valley Watershed near Bobs and Christie Lakes and the Tay River has received just over 100mm of rainfall. The weather forecast indicates another 15 to 20mm of precipitation for the next week. This above-average precipitation has resulted in increased water levels in Bobs and Christie Lakes.
