Did You Know? (2023-32)

You cannot plow snow from your driveway onto a public road or its road allowance (ditch).

Part X, Section 181 of the Highway Traffic Act states: "No person shall deposit snow or ice on a roadway without the permission of the Ministry or the road authority (Township) responsible for the maintenance of the road".   Please reference Part XV, Section 214 (1), of the Highway Traffic Act enforceable by the Ministry of Transportation.

Angel Tree Tags are back at the Tay Valley Municipal Office!

Angel Tree Tags will be available at the Municipal Office starting on November 14th. 
All Angel Tree gifts will need to be returned back to the Municipal Office by Dec 1st.
