Don’t be Alarmed – It’s Ontario’s Alert Ready Testing Day!

Alert Ready is Canada's national emergency system alert system. 

Residents may receive a test alert today, as part of the province's Emergency Preparedness Week.

During serious emergencies such as ..

• tornadoes
• flooding
• wildfires or
• other threats to public safety

Alert Ready will send emergency alerts to compatible:

• wireless devices
• TV's, and 
• radios

The system test is part of Emergency Preparedness Week. This Year's theme this year is " Prepared Together" - reminding us that rural communities are strongest when neighbours look out for one another.
