Land for Sale

Throughout the year, properties for sale by the Township will appear on this page, either as a Property Tax Sale or as a Municipal Property.

Property Tax Sale

If property taxes remain unpaid for a specific period of time, Ontario Regulation 181/03: Municipal Tax Sale Rules provides for the sale of the property. Prior to a tax sale, the property owner is given a specific time frame to make payments and if there is failure to do so, then a tax sale of the property is initiated. This applies to both residential and non-residential classes of property.
