Fire Permits Expire November 30

Don't forget to renew or apply for your fire permit on December 1st, 2022.

Fire permits for Tay Valley Township residents and/or property owners, expire every year on November 30th. Visit our page https://www.tayvalleytwp.ca/en/living-here/Fire-Permits.aspx to renew or apply for your FREE fire permit for the 2022-2023 year.

Fire permits can be applied for at any time during the year.

The Inaugural Meeting of the new Council was held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.  Joined by family and friends, Reeve Rob Rainer, Deputy Reeve Fred Dobbie and Council Members Korrine Affleck, Wayne Baker, Greg Hallam, Andrew Kendrick, Angela Pierman and Marilyn Thomas took the Declaration of Office.

Call to Residents to Take Action

We can all reduce hospital visits and admissions in those most vulnerable (the very young, very old and immunocompromised) if we work together this season to reduce the spread of the triple threat of seasonal respiratory viruses (Covid/Flu/RSV). The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit supports the provincial recommendation of getting back to using the layers of protection we know are effective.
