Road Closing - Cooks Road

NOTICE
PROPOSED CLOSING OF COOKS ROAD AND ASSOCIATED ROAD ALLOWANCE
IN BATHURST WARD

TAKE NOTICE, that the Council of the Corporation of Tay Valley Township proposes to enact a By-Law to stop up, close and convey the municipal roadway known as Cooks Road, together with the road allowance associated with Cooks Road, including any portion of the travelled roadway used by the public in this area, and to convey the closed lands to the adjacent owners.
AND TAKE NOTICE, that any person who believes they may be adversely affected by the closure of such road allowance has an opportunity to express their concerns at a meeting open to the public to be held on:

Tuesday, April 28^th, 2026 at 5:30 p.m.

217 Harper Road, Perth, Ontario

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED CLOSING

A portion of the road allowance (approximately 300 feet) between Bathurst Concession 6, Lot 5 and Lot 6, together with any portion of the travelled municipal roadway known as Cooks Road, located between Highway #7 and Old Brooke Road.
