2024 BUDGET AND FEES

Tay Valley Township Council intends to adopt the 2024 Budget and consider any changes in fees at the Council meeting to be held on December 12th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

In addition, a public meeting to hear comments and answer questions from the public will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.  The Township strongly encourages written comments to be submitted prior to the public meeting.

Municipal Office Closure - Off-Site Emergency Training 2023

The Municipal Office will be closed for Emergency Management training on Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 12th.

The Municipal Office will re-open on Friday October 13th at 8:30am.

Community Safety and Well-being - Community Survey

The Community Safety and Well-being (CSWB) Advisory Committee is updating the CSWB Plan for Lanark County and Smiths Falls. These provincially mandated plans are designed to evaluate local data, determine existing community assets and gaps, and strategize ways to bridge those gaps. The current plan was completed before the pandemic - and a lot has changed!
