Municipal Office and Waste Site Hours - National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day

Municipal Office – Hours
The Tay Valley Township Municipal Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, September 30, 2021 for the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation Holiday. Office services by email and telephone will resume on Friday, October 1, 2021. In-person services (lobby only) will also resume on Friday, available between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. with a maximum of 2 people in the lobby at any time.

Significant Rain Expected to Increase Water Levels Throughout Rideau Watershed

Environment Canada is forecasting rainfall amounts of 60 to 90 mm starting today through early Friday morning, with a few localities possibly exceeding 100 mm. The higher amounts are forecasted for the upper part of the Rideau Valley Watershed. This widespread rainfall event is due to a cold front and a moisture-laden low pressure system that will arrive from the American Midwest.
