An entrance permit is required to establish or change an entranceway onto a property off of a public road.
An entrance permit must also be in place prior to the issuance of a building permit. Final inspection of the entrance permit must be completed before occupancy is permitted in new construction projects.
A civic address must also be obtained from the Township when an entrance is being created or changed, whether or not there is a structure on the property.
Township Roads
An entrance permit is required to establish an entranceway onto a property off of a Township road. The cost is $80 and must be submitted with the application.

An Entrance Permit is required from the County of Lanark - Public Works Department to establish an entranceway onto a property off of a County road.
Provincial Roads
An Entrance Permit is required from the Ministry of Transportation to establish an entranceway onto a property off of Provincial Highway 7.
