Lanark County Genealogy Society

Lanark County Genealogical Society is a not-for-profit organization of family historians with patrons in Lanark County , across Canada, the USA and worldwide. It is their aim to assist members in researching family histories and in the gathering, recording and preserving of genealogical information pertaining to Lanark County.

Published works which have been completed by the collective and individual efforts on the part of their members are listed on their website along with other publications related to Lanark County which are available from other sources.

Archives Lanark

The Archives is an independent non-profit organization. It relies on volunteers, donations from users of the facility, and the support of Lanark County.

The holdings at Archives Lanark include many resources including the Lanark County Land Registry abstract books, and land deeds dating from 1868 to 1955, listings for local cemeteries, census records, early church records, and scrap-books of births, deaths, and marriages.

Ontario Genealogical Society

For over 50 years, the Ontario Genealogical Society has been working to encourage, bring together and assist people interested in the pursuit of family histories. Their objectives include the promotion, preservation and study of genealogy and family history by means of original genealogical research.

Ontario GenWeb

Ontario GenWeb specializes in the "how to" research Ontario and "where to" find research resources. This Project is a not a research service. Ontario GenWeb volunteers and hosts are there to provide information on the web to help you help yourself trace your family tree.
